Caddis developing its second senior living community in Illinois

Caddis is developing Heartis® Village Orland Park – its second senior living community in Illinois. The 94-unit, 89,950 square foot assisted living and memory care residence is being built at 159th St. and Harlem Ave. in Orland Park, about 26 miles southwest of Chicago.

Last year, Caddis began developing a 94-unit, 97,471 square foot Heartis assisted living and memory care community in Peoria, Ill. That residence is expected to be completed in the fall of this year.

Both the Orland Park and Peoria communities will be owned by a Caddis affiliate and will be managed by Pathway Senior Living LLC, a nationally recognized operator of senior living communities in the Chicago area and Wisconsin.

“The community will offer a wide variety of amenities and special features such as an extensive wellness program,” states Katie Csobaji, Caddis Senior Vice President of Senior Living. “It also will offer an integrated healthcare model with multiple levels of the highest-quality medical service that allows residents to receive most of their routine healthcare conveniently within the community.”

Heartis Village Orland Park also will offer a salon and spa with a therapeutic tub; two interior courtyards; a large dining room and a private dining room; delicious, chef-prepared meals; stimulating daily activities; an arts and crafts room; media room; licensed nursing services; beautifully landscaped grounds; 24-hour emergency call system; housekeeping and laundry services; personal transportation; assistance with the activities of daily living; and luxurious finishes.

Heartis Village Orland Park is expected to be completed in fall 2017. The architect for the project is Austin, Texas-based Katus LLC and the general contractor is McShane Construction Company LLC, which is headquartered in Rosemount, Ill.
