Caddis recently held a grand opening of the 78-unit, 63,000 square foot Heartis® Cypress senior living community at 17935 Longenbaugh Road in Cypress, which is about 25 miles northwest of downtown Houston.

The assisted living and memory care community, developed and owned by Caddis Partners and managed by Eugene, Ore.-based Good Neighbor Care, features the area’s only “main street.” The innovative streetscape within the community consists of a movie theater, ‘50s-style ice cream parlor, art studio, auto repair, planting nursery and other stores. Each establishment has its own storefront aligned down a central common “main street” complete with street lights and park benches.

“The main street concept ties into the overall therapeutic approach we use in Heartis communities,” explains Katie Csobaji, Caddis Senior Vice President of Senior Living. “The storefronts and accompanying activities provide residents with Alzheimer’s and dementia with a comfortable, familiar environment that encourages fond memories of years past and provides greater opportunities for them to connect with their families, other residents and staff.”

“Heartis Cypress has it all,” says Caddis Partners CEO Jason Signor. “It’s beautiful with top-notch amenities and the highest quality of care available, all offered in a fun, dynamic environment. We expect local residents and their families will find that Heartis Cypress is a wonderful living option and a place that seniors can truly call home.”

Heartis Cypress offers three interior courtyards (with one dedicated to memory care); stimulating daily programming and activities; delicious chef-prepared meals; housekeeping and laundry services; personal transportation; assistance with the activities of daily living; a wide variety of amenities; and high-quality Class A finishes, all delivered in a warm, nurturing environment. The community is located on the fast-growing side of Northwest Houston and near notable master-planned communities, including Bridgeland and Towne Lake.

The architect for Heartis Cypress was Austin, Texas-based KATUS. Financing was provided by the Dallas office of Amegy Bank.
